We were in between sessions when this risque marching band started, uh, marching through the convention center - the center's management flipped out. The musicians were top notch, but as you can imagine, most of the nerds were just ogling the color guard (the male flag-bearer caught us by surprise).

I saw the band later that night at one of Portland's clubs (Dante's) and it was surreal. I'd never seen a marching band in a small venue - let alone a marching band marching *through* the crowd.
