1st Ave Remodel

We decided to open the place up a bit by "just" removing the furnace and adding individual in-wall heaters. That's grown a bit... we're now moving the kitchen to the front of the house, moving both doors, redoing the floors in hardwood, new stackable washer and dryer, new lighting, new patio, new front porch... and the list continues.

The breakfast bar wall goes in
The old furnace (sheethed in plastic to keep the insulation in)
Old back door; new position
New kitchen window framing in place
Old front door; new position
Not a lot of room in the attic. Gotta get those ducts out of there.
No more sheetrock
Apparently we started a remodel today.
Walls around furnace, closet, and utility closet are gone.
Kitchen cabinets have come down - bye bye to my first tile job.
Countertop and sheetrock are coming out of the kitchen
The whole is where the furnace, closet, and utility room once were - we don't miss them
Kitchen window is in (has been for a couple days) and so is the skylight
It will be so much more open in here - we can't wait for it to be done.
New siding on the house - there'll be a new porch there
Sheetrock is up! Needs to be taped and mudded - but look how much bigger it is
Sheetrockin'!
